About the House

Croyde is nestled between two other wonderful beaches. To its west sits Saunton, a child-friendly beach ideal for building sandcastles and playing in the warm shallow waters. East of is the award-winning Woolacombe, a stunning three-mile beach and lively village.

Just a short drive from the house are many different attractions to suit all tastes and weather conditions, including The Big Sheep, Watermouth Castle, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Exmoor Zoo and Arlington Court.

For those looking for alternative activities away from the water there are ample walks both around the coast and inland that would suit all levels of abilities. Cyclists can also enjoy the area with the mainly traffic free Tarka Trail easily picked up in nearby Braunton, or the many beautiful country lanes providing excellent scenery for guests staying with bikes. Horse riding and golf can also be enjoyed locally.
