We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony every day, the house had a good feel about it! Had great meals at The Thatch and The Manor! We had a lovely beach day at Saunton Sands, better accessibility & beach huts too! Highly recommend a visit to Ilfracombe & Barnstaple (great shops!) Lots to do and see. Croyde is lovely!. Lovely house, great views of Croyde. Good range of equipment and nice to have somewhere to hose wetsuits down and sit in the garden. A little more surf would have been nice but the weather for September was fantastic! We come to Croyde every year and will definitely stay at sunset beach again.

We’ve had a lovely holiday at Sunset Beach, we even made it on the beach in bikinis! The house was perfect for two families- the open plan upstairs worked really well but encouraged too many night time snacks! A lovely home to appreciate our favourite place! A nice comfortable house to return to after boiling/windy days at the beach! Perfect for the children and great for grown up meals around the dining table. We all really enjoyed our stay.

The house was great. Loved the layout as all the sand stayed downstairs! The surf was good especially at Croyde Beach as the waves were powerful. The fudge was delicious and so was the mint choc chip ice-cream.

We found our house very cozy and in good condition. There was room for food, drink and treats in the kitchen, comfy beds, a relaxing spar bath and a lot more. It is a good and easy distance from Croyde Village where we occasionally ate, shopped and went to the beach. Although it seemed like the weather wasn’t pleasant we found loads of activities to do indoors.

We decided to come away for a few days for new years and have had a fantastic time. We were very impressed with the house and although there were eight of us there was plenty of space. Croyde is so pretty, the weather has been cold and sunny- perfect! A walk along the beach at Saunton Sands is a must. Would definitely come back.

Excellent accommodation, Croyde is a lovely village. The beach is fantastic but unfortunately the weather was cool. The shops are in keeping with a surfing holiday. My wife enjoyed the surfing but sadly she was eaten by a great white halfway through the holiday, never mind, you live by the board- you die by the board!
